Harper Quinn turns 2.

We survived. Thats what kept telling myself in the days leading up to Harper turning 2. Some of the days have been long but the last two years have gone by so quick. I can’t even count the number of bottles of wine we’ve plowed through or the number of times I’ve wanted to shut myself in the bedroom and scream into a pillow. She is nothing short of wonderful and amazing and we love her dearly, obvi. Her ability to be funny is something I’ll never understand. How does this kid know how to make me laugh so hard? Motherhood is so wonderful and so trying. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and will ever do. That’s a fact.

Each birthday is a reminder that Joe and I can do anything. It’s as much our little celebration as a team as it is a celebration of Harper turning one year older. We are so so thankful to have her and just feel like the luckiest people.

Here are a few photos from our day which started with balloons and ended with a super sugar high.
